Sarah & Dale's Engagement Session Part 2!

Today we finish up with Sarah & Dale's Engagement session. Let's get to the good stuff!

These next few images are very special. This happens to be the exact spot where the couple will be getting married in 2015. I won't ruin too much about the space but these were too captivating not to share! They have truly picked a magical spot for their big day.

We finished up the session with a quick outfit change featuring one of their favorite football teams!

Sarah & Dale's Engagement Session Part 1

I recently had the opportunity to spend some time with an old friend from VCU and her fiancé at Amber Grove (the venue for their 2015 wedding!). We have collaborated in the past on a lot of great projects** and it is always a wonderful experience to work with her. So it came to no surprise that when it came to Sarah and Dale's session, we would have a great time. If you've been keeping up with my Facebook you have already seen some of the images from our time together but I thought I'd share some more.

Sarah and Dale are a perfect match for each other and I think that these images really show how in love they are! They compliment each other so well and I couldn't be happier for them. And did I forget to mention Stella? Isn't their pup adorable?

Last week I posted on Facebook a preview of a session I did recently with the Scanlon family. We met at  City Dock in Downtown Fredericksburg on a gorgeous afternoon right before sunset. Fall foliage is in full swing here in Virginia and it really made our time together extra special.

I recently had the pleasure of shooting The Mountjoy family at the City Dock in Downtown Fredericksburg. It was a quick shoot but we had a great time. We have another great session planned featuring fall foliage so be on the look out for that in the near future!

Wineries, Apple-picking, and Horses Oh My!

Fall has officially hit Virginia. Before the leaves completely change and the fall coolness sets in, my family thought it would be a great idea to visit some good ole wineries and go apple picking. We visited a few wineries outside of Charlottesville and let me tell you, they were beautiful (the wine didn't hurt either). We also got to pet some stunning horses and visit Carter's Mountain Orchard. I had never been before but I highly suggest if you go that you try The Apple Cider Slushie!
